This series of bold and colourful illustrations by local artist Meha Hindocha showcases Manchester's most famous landmarks, venues, and attractions.
In this print, the world famous Old Trafford football stadium, home to Manchester United FC can be seen glowing bright red against a vibrant yellow background. Famously dubbed the "The Theatre of Dreams" by Sir Bobby Charlton, Old Trafford has been United's home ground since 1910 and bore witness to some of the greatest football moments in history, as well as some of its most iconic players, including Christiano Ronaldo, Eric Cantona, George Best among many others.
Meha Hindocha is a Kenyan artist based in Manchester who creates ‘vibrant, intricate pieces inspired by everyday interactions and emotions.’ Meha has been a practicing artist for many years, and attended Camberwell University of arts in 2005. She is inspired by urban and architectural pieces as demonstrated in her beautiful Manchester based artwork.
